The Perfect Location for a Cycling Holiday or Break 

Close to the stunning Marina Alta mountains, Denia offers a variety of terrain to suit everyone. With superb tarmac and virtually car-free roads, rides can be as challenging as you want or take it easy on the flat terrain along the coast. Together with the fantastic local climate, it's no coincidence that many pro cycling teams and riders hold their winter training camps here. The riding is truly world class, with spectacular views and fun descents. That's why we moved here!

Cycling Groups

We have had numerous bookings from cyclists and cycling groups keen to stretch their legs on some of the best riding terrain anywhere. We can cater for a maximum of 6 guests across the two accommodation options and, of course, more by adding off-site accommodation.

Riding Terrain

The mountains start at approx 10-20km from Denia giving you a warm up before you head uphill. Gradients are typically not too steep (3-8%) and individual climbs range from 5 minutes to an hour. The tops of the passes are typically at 550-850m altitude so there are no issues with thin air but are definitely more than enough for properly challenging days in the saddle, if that's what you are looking for. Of course, steeper gradients can also be found if you feel the need as well as the flat coastal areas.

Road Conditions

Road conditions really are perfect. Fabulous smooth tarmac on many of the roads, and very few cars outside the main towns. Drivers are also generally, certainly by UK standards, very respectful and leave plenty of distance when overtaking.
